At Language upon Thames we offer a friendly welcome to students both locally and from around the world to our school in Richmond, London. The school was set up in 2004 and since then we've developed high quality programmes in English as a Foreign Language, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and many other languages.
The school is small and family-run offering a very personal service in a relaxed, sociable yet professional atmosphere. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment where students can develop confidence in their chosen language. Our philosophy is to teach in small groups so that students receive personal attention and can make fast progress. We are proud of our high levels of student satisfaction - 97% positive feedback.
At Language upon Thames we think of our staff and students as one big family and will do everything to make sure you have a pleasant experience. You will find a relaxed homely environment, friendly staff, comfortable classrooms, free internet access plus free tea, coffee and biscuits.
If you are coming from abroad to study English we understand that it is a big step for many, so we try to ensure you are happy with every aspect of the school and provide support with accommodation, adapting to London life and any personal problems. We want you to have fun too! On our exciting social programme you can practise your English with new friends and experience the best of London life.
