Course Description
These courses prepare students for internationally recognised English qualifications to enhance their career and education opportunities worldwide. Students study all the components of the relevant exams including practise tests with past exams. Language upon Thames' exam preparation courses combine some General English classes with specialist classes to practise exam skills and strategies. We also supply individual feedback and support with registering for the exams.
IELTS
The ‘International English Language Testing System’ is the prime exam required for entry into British, Canadian and Australian universities and colleges. Students can achieve a score from 1 to 9. Typical scores required for entry into British universities range from 5.5 to 7.5 depending on the course.
